Another downtown business has moved forward by looking to Collingwood's past. Smart's Flowers, owned and operated by Rick and Susan Lloyd, has recently gone through an extensive store front renovation to create a look similar to what the building would have had at the turn of the century. The building is more than 100 years old and is situated in the heart of Collingwood's Downtown Heritage District. The price tag for the renovation has topped $80,000.00, but Rick Lloyd says it has been a good investment. Lloyd credits Collingwood's Heritage Committee and Chief Building Officer Ron Martin for being very helpful during the renovation project.
