Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine Shelby Worts and Tara Gignac have moved to beautiful new Downtown Collingwood offices at 115 Hurontario Street, Suite 200, in the Arlington Building.
"To be specific, we’re here to serve you" says Tara Gignac. "When you visit StoneTree, your health experience should leave you feeling better, not worse" Gignac adds. The doctors feel your time in their clinic should be something to look forward to. They feel you shouldn’t have to wait long for your appointment, and if you need more time with your practitioner during your next visit, just have to ask. "In fact, if you need anything…just ask. We’ll do all we can to help" Gignac stated.
The new Downtown Collingwood location provides more room and a more peaceful environment. The clinic has three times the square footage that the previous location had. "I feel more a part of the community being downtown" says Shelby Worts. "Our new location offers increased benefits to our patients" Worts added
Shelby Worts graduated from Dalhousie University with a BSc in Biology, from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, and passed all licensing exams in 2004. Shelby is a licensed and registered Doctor of Naaturopathic Medicine in the province of Ontario. In 2006 she also obtained her license to practice parenteral (intravenous) therapy. (The new clinic has an expanded area for this treatment).
Tara Gignac, ND is a registered and licensed Naturopathic Doctor. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University Tara attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, where she completed the intensive four-year Naturopathic Medicine program. Tara returned to the area in 2001, and is Collingwood’s longest practicing naturopathic doctor. She’s also a published author, and active in health care research and policy.
