Collingwood Elvis Festival
Summer's Biggest Party!

Record crowds packed Downtown Collingwood all weekend to enjoy the 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival. Friday night's traditional Street Party began at 1pm and carried on throughout the evening as over 140 Elvis Tribute Artists took to the stage

And The Beat Goes On

The 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival continues to grow, attracting thousands and thousands of visitors from throughout Ontario, Canada, the United States and beyond. The 2007 Festival began with the new "Spend An Evening with Elvis" event at the Gayety Theatre in Downtown Collingwood on Thursday July 26th. This show set the stage for a record breaking weekend of music, performances, food, children's entertainment and family fun. Friday night's "Awesome Street Party and Tribute Artist Showcase" saw a record number of Elvis Tribute Artists perform on the main street stage. The performances began shortly after 1pm on Friday and the music didn't stop until Friday turned into Saturday. Early Saturday morning, thousands of people lined Collingwood's main street to witness the Tribute Artist Classic Car Parade. Returning Champion Robin Kelly from Edmonton Alberta said that no other festival, anywhere, can compare to the Collingwood Elvis Festival. Kelly said visiting Collingwood is like attending a family reunion, as he has made so many good friends here over the years. Australian Past Champion Dean Vegas was back as well. He also says the Collingwood Festival is the best in the world.

2007 Champion - Jay Zanier

The 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival Champion is Jay Zanier from Guelph. Zanier has been singing the music of Elvis for 15 years and now will receive $3,000.00 and will represent the Collingwood Elvis Festival at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition in Memphis in August.

The Olde Town Terrace in Downtown Collingwood hosted Roy LeBlanc, a returning Collingwood Champion and past Vegas Champion.

Competiton continued on Saturday July 28th on the Pine Street Stage (above) following the popular Elvis Tribute Artist Classic Car Parade (below). Thousands of people lined Hurontario Street in Downtown Collingwood to see the beautiful classic cars and Tribute Artists.

Local favourite and a Champion from last year, Lance Dobinson (above middle) was back at the 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival.

It was "All Elvis, All The Time" throughout the streets of Collingwood's Historic Downtown District. Our downtown patios provided people with a place to take a break to enjoy "people watching" while enjoying the great tastes of Downtown Collingwood restaurants.

Representatives from Sirius Satellite Radio, the title sponsor of the 2007 Collingwood Elvis Festival, were on hand to meet with Union Station visitors.
