Mario and Teresa Comegna have arrived in Collingwood's Historic Downtown, bringing with them delicious food, beautifully served, creating a true Italian experience. Re-opened April 27th and newly renovated, Brunello at 27 on fourth is the perfect spot for a romantic, intimate dining experience. The restored Victorian house, just half a block from Hurontario Street, is filled with cozy nooks and a warm fireplace, presenting a true Italian feel right here in Downtown Collingwood. The extensive menu features terrific appetizers and classic Italian dishes including Scaloppine al Limone, Ossobuco alla Romana and Sella d'agnello (grilled rack of lamb, yukon gold potato parmesan gratin). Another favourite is Penne con Pesto Toscano e Spiedino di Gamberi (Penne tossed with Tuscan pesto, served with a grilled shrimp skewer).
