One of the weekly events growing in popularity in Collingwood Downtown is the Farmers’ Market, held in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Downtown Collingwood’s Business Improvement Area Manager Susan Nicholson says she is very pleased to see the market flourish. The uniqueness of the Market will continue to attract more visitors to downtown” she said.

Our Market is held every Saturday morning from Victoria Day weekend through to Thanksgiving weekend, with the exception of Elvis’ Festival weekend in July. The location of the Market is in the parking lot at the Southeast corner of Pine and Second Streets, featuring locally grown, hand-made, hand-crafted items from area residents. Because of the nature of the products being offered, there is no conflict with merchandise already available at downtown stores.

The Market offers live entertainment, baked goods, and local produce grown by Collingwood area farmers. From strawberries to corn to apples, fresh produce is readily available at the market every Saturday morning from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
