A traditional Canadian Winter is unfolding in Collingwood for the 2007-2008 Winter Season. The fresh snow provided the perfect setting for the annnaul Collingwood Santa Claus Parade on Sunday December 2nd. The parade made its way through Historic Downtown Collingwood with clowns, floats, the CCI Marching Band, music and of course, the Jolly Big Guy!
Be sure to get on his list!
Young people will be able to visit with and have their picture taken with Santa in front of the Collingwood Town Hall (under the clock) on Saturday December 8th, 15th and 22nd from noon until 3pm each day.
While you're shopping downtown, don't forget to enter the Christmas Shopping Getaway Contest. You could win a winter or summer holiday for two at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia!
Santa Claus Parade 2007 Winners
It was a cold blustery winter day for the 2007 edition of the 2007 Collingwood downtown Santa Claus Parade, but families from around the area braved the cold to welcome Santa to town. Many commercial businesses, non-profit organizations and youth groups entertained the community with a unique selection of floats. Thanks to all the participants and congratulations to the winners!
